Data Science Fellowship
The Data Incubator is an intensive 8 week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and supported by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries. Open to anyone who has already obtained a masters or PhD degree or who is within one year of graduating with a masters or PhD
Introduction to Python — a programming short course for Masters and PhD students
The Department of Computing and Information Systems is running a training course titled Introduction to Python from 13–24 February 2017. The program will be offered free to Masters and PhD students of the University of Melbourne who want to learn the basics of programming. Students who successfully complete the assessment component will receive a completion certificate, but will not be awarded credit for this first trial run. The program will assume little or no background in programming.
