Dee and John Collier Travel Scholarship

This scholarship supports graduate researchers to undertake international travel which will benefit their research outcomes.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

  • Be a PhD candidate currently enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering and IT.
  • Have completed the equivalent of at least six months full time candidature.
  • Propose to undertake travel directly benefiting your research

Value

In 2024, a single award valued at $2,500 is available.

Selection criteria

Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:

  • Merit of proposed travel and impact on your research outcomes
  • Academic Merit (assessed via supporting documents like your CV, and supervisor's statement of support)
  • Confirmation of additional financial support
  • Reputation of hosting organisation
  • A reasonable budget
  • A statement demonstrating ambassadorial potential of the experience for the Faculty of Engineering and IT.
